Agreement to Terms:

By subscribing to the CanadianSME Small Business Hub Community (hereafter referred to as “the Community”), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Should you choose not to agree with these terms, please refrain from using the Community Services.

Membership Eligibility:

Membership in the Community is available only to entities and individuals at least 18 years old who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. You represent and warrant that you are eligible to join the Community and that you are a small business owner or entrepreneur.

Privacy:

The privacy of our subscribers or members is our paramount priority. We collect, utilize and disclose your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Use of Services:

You can use the Community’s services for lawful purposes only. Misusing our services or employing them in a way that infringes the rights of anyone else or restricts or inhibits anyone else’s enjoyment of the services.

User Content:

You are solely responsible for all content, including text, photos, videos, and other materials that you upload, post, or share on the Community. You must ensure that any content you post complies with relevant laws and regulations and does not violate any third-party rights.

Intellectual Property:

The Community retains all rights to its intellectual property, including the website, resources, and other materials provided. The content you access on the Community website is for your personal use only, and any commercial use should be avoided.

Mentorship & Guidance:

The advice and guidance provided by mentors, experts and other Community members are their personal opinions. While we aim to provide accurate and useful advice, we do not guarantee its fidelity or applicability to your specific situation.

Exclusive Offers:

The Community occasionally offers deals, discounts, and other promotions (“Offers”). These offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be disclosed at the time of the offer.

Event Registrations:

Registration for events is subject to availability and on a first-come, first-serve basis. We reserve the right to cancel or change the date and time of events. In such cases, we will notify registered participants in due time.

Modifications to Terms:

We reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised terms will come into effect upon posting on our website, and your continued subscription to the services will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

We also reserve the right to terminate or suspend your membership and access to services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions – SMB Advisors

Acceptance of Terms

By applying and participating as an Advisor in the Small Business Hub Community (“Community”), you (the “Advisor”) signify your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Should you decide not to agree to abide by these Terms, please refrain from using our services or participating in the Community.

Eligibility

To qualify as an Advisor, you must be at least 18 years of age or older and have full authority to bind the business entity you represent to these Terms. Your agreement to these Terms will be regarded as a representation of your eligibility.

Advisor Benefits

As a member of the Community, Advisors are eligible to utilize a variety of resources and benefits. These include but are not limited to:

Full Website Access & Personalized Dashboard: Complete access to our online platform and a personalized dashboard that enhances your interaction and navigation on the site.

Member Networking: An opportunity to connect with other professionals to foster a community that promotes collaboration and learning.

Event Participation & Promotion: Access to register for exclusive events, the ability to synchronize these events with your calendar, and a platform to promote your own events.

Comprehensive Listings: Space to list the details of your products and services, bolstering your business visibility to a wider audience.

Course Monetization & Availability: The opportunity to generate income by offering and selling courses. You can provide both free and paid courses to cater to a wide range of needs.

Article Submission: You can post an unlimited number of articles on the Community website and up to two articles per year in the CanadianSME Small Business Magazine.

Video Integration: You can use several tools to enrich your content with videos from platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo.

Service Discounts: You can avail the options to attract more customers by offering special promotions and discounts for your services.

Advertorial Feature: A unique chance to have a feature of up to 600 words in the CanadianSME Small Business Magazine, which our team will expertly prepare.

Email Interview: A provision of email interviews carried out by a member of the Small Business Hub team is available for you. However, you must agree to provide truthful and accurate information during this interview. Any misleading or false statements could result in penalties, including possible termination of Advisor status.

Event Discount: A 10% discount on booth reservations at events such as the CanadianSME Small Business Expo and Small Business Summit will be provided to you.

Business Podcast Feature

The Small Business Podcast Feature is a one-time opportunity to share your business story and provide valuable insights to a wider audience. You must provide content that is both relevant and valuable to the small business community with an adherence to the stipulated guidelines and standards.

Content Ownership and Responsibility

Advisors bear the responsibility for all content they upload on the Community website, such as videos, articles, and product listings. You must ensure you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that the content does not infringe on the rights of any third parties, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

Advertorial Feature

The Advertorial Feature is a one-time benefit available to each Advisor. Our team at Small Business Hub will create a 600-word piece that highlights your business. You must ensure that your content complies with our guidelines and does not promote any illegal or harmful activities.

Course Monitization

As an Advisor, you have the chance to create and sell courses through the Community platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring the content of these courses is accurate, valuable, and does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable laws. It’s entirely your responsibility to handle any disputes or issues that may arise from the purchasers of your courses directly.

Discounts

As an Advisor, you will receive a waiver or discount on most services of Small Business Hub. This discount, however, will not be combined with any other promotional offer and is non-transferable.

Member Networking

As a Community member, you are encouraged to foster connections with other professionals in the Community. Any networking must be done in a respectful and professional manner. Actions such as harassment, threats, or any other infringement on the rights of other members will not be tolerated and may lead to termination of your Advisor status.

Termination

The Small Business Hub reserves the right to terminate an Advisor’s access to the Community and their benefits at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms. Upon termination, the Advisor agrees to cease with immediate effect using any Community resources or claiming any associated benefits.

Modification of Terms

The Small Business Hub may revise these Terms at its discretion. Your continued participation in the Community after modifications to these Terms indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay apprised of any such changes.

Governing Law

These Terms and all disputes or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms, their subject matter, or their formation shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada without giving effect to any principles that may provide for the application of the law of another jurisdiction.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions and joining the Community as an Advisor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above Terms and Conditions.

Terms & Conditions – SMB Service Providers Silver

Acceptance of Terms

Upon registering for the CanadianSME Small Business Hub (“CanadianSME”) Silver Plan (“the Plan”), you hereby accept and are bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms may undergo updates periodically. It is incumbent upon you to remain informed of any such changes by consistently reviewing the Terms on our website.

Service Description and Scope

Enrollment in the Plan grants you access to a plethora of benefits and features, encompassing but not restricted to: networking avenues, event engagement and promotion, comprehensive product listings, course monetization, article contributions, video integration, service concessions, team enlistment, advertorials, email dialogues, complimentary exhibition booths, and podcast involvements.

For a detailed overview of the offerings under the Silver Plan, please refer to the “Silver Plan Detailed Page” under the “Membership Plan” on our website.

Kindly note, the abovementioned services and features are mutable. CanadianSME retains the unilateral right to introduce, modify, or withdraw services, and such changes might be effected without advance notification.

Your Obligations

It is imperative that you furnish precise and up-to-date information during your enrollment and uphold this accuracy for the entirety of your membership. Any deviation from this may culminate in a suspension or cessation of your account.

The onus of safeguarding the confidentiality of your account credentials lies with you. Any unauthorized access or usage of your account mandates immediate communication to CanadianSME.

Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Membership fees for the Plan are levied annually and monthly. Payments are to be made in full at the outset of the membership tenure.

Unless explicitly delineated in these Terms, membership fees once paid are non-refundable.

Member Conduct and Content Policy

As an esteemed member, you bear the sole responsibility for any content you disseminate, broadcast, or share through the platform. Ensure your content adheres to all relevant legislations and doesn’t transgress any third-party rights.

The platform must not be utilized to disseminate content that is deleterious, deceptive, obscene, or otherwise reprehensible. Non-compliance may attract repercussions, including but not confined to content excision, account suspension, or termination.

Indemnity

You hereby commit to defend, indemnify, and exonerate CanadianSME, including its board members, directors, employees, and agents, from any claims, damages, obligations, deficits, liabilities, or expenses emanating from any breaches on your part of these Terms or any infringement of third-party rights, encompassing but not restricted to proprietary, copyright, or privacy rights.

Service Modifications

CanadianSME holds the right, at its discretion, to modify or cease services offered under the Plan, be it temporarily or permanently, without the necessity of prior intimation. No liability pertaining to such modifications or cessations shall be borne by CanadianSME.

Termination of Membership

CanadianSME reserves the unequivocal right to terminate your membership and access rights to the services at any juncture, with or devoid of prior notice, for any reason, inclusive but not restricted to, breaches of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are to be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of Canada, with specific adherence to the laws of Ontario, eschewing any conflict-of-law stipulations. You hereby concede to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated within Ontario.

By opting for the Silver Plan, you acknowledge your comprehension and unequivocal acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Terms & Conditions – SMB Service Providers Gold

Overview and Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your (“Member” or “Service Provider”) usage of the Canadian SME Small Business Hub Community (“Canadian SME,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) and your subscription to the Gold Plan. Your agreement to abide by these Terms is implied by your use of our services.

Service Access and Personalization

As part of the Gold Plan, we provide you with access to all features and content. You can customize your user experience, enabling streamlined interaction with our site. This access is conditioned upon your compliance with all provisions outlined in these Terms.

Professional Networking

We encourage you to forge connections with other professionals within our community. However, we strictly prohibit any form of harassment, discrimination, or other unprofessional behaviour and may take action up to and including termination of membership for such conduct.

Event Participation and Promotion

As a Gold Plan member, you are entitled to register for exclusive events and may also promote your own events. You are expected to follow all guidelines provided by us regarding event participation and promotion.

Business Listings

You may showcase detailed information about your products and services. You are responsible for ensuring that all such information is true, accurate, and not misleading.

Course Offering and Monetization

Members can monetize their expertise by selling courses. When doing so, you must ensure the courses comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Article Submission

You may submit an unlimited number of articles for publication on our website and up to four articles per year in the Canadian SME Small Business Magazine. All submissions must be of a professional standard and are subject to our editorial review.

Video Integration

You have the option to enrich your content with embedded videos. However, it is your responsibility to ensure you have obtained all necessary permissions and rights to use these videos.

Service Discounts

You may offer special promotions for your services. Any promotions should be legally compliant.

Team Inclusion

The Gold Plan allows you to feature your team members on your dedicated page. You must obtain consent from each team member before featuring them.

Advertorials

Your membership includes three advertorials, up to 600 words each, in the Canadian SME Small Business Magazine, written by the Canadian SME team.

Email Interview

We offer you the opportunity to participate in an email interview that will be featured in the Canadian SME Small Business Magazine.

Exhibiting Space

We offer you a 10×10-foot booth at the Canadian SME Small Business Expo or Small Business Summit as part of your Gold Plan.

Podcast Appearance

As a Gold Plan member, you can appear twice on the Canadian SME Small Business Podcast, a powerful tool for sharing your story and reaching our extensive audience.

Data Privacy

Any personal and business information you provide to us will be managed as per our Privacy Policy.

Fee Payment

You agree to promptly pay the Gold Plan membership fee according to the terms set forth at the time of your subscription.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services for any breach of these Terms, misuse of our platform, or other reasons as determined by us.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Canadian courts.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the CanadianSME Small Business Hub (“CanadianSME”) Platinum Plan (“the Plan”), you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms may be updated from time to time. It remains your responsibility to keep abreast of any amendments by regularly checking the Terms on our website.

Service Description and Scope

Upon subscribing to the Plan, you will be granted access to an extensive array of premium benefits and features, potentially encompassing exclusive networking opportunities, priority event access, advanced product listings, top-tier course monetization opportunities, priority article submissions, premium video integrations, enhanced service discounts, priority team inclusion, featured advertorials, priority email dialogues, premium exhibition booths at events, and prioritized podcast appearances.

For a comprehensive breakdown of the offerings under the Platinum Plan, kindly refer to the “Platinum Plan Detailed Page” under the “Membership Plan” on our website.

Please be advised that the aforementioned services and features may be subject to modifications. CanadianSME has the sole right to introduce, amend, or revoke services at its discretion, potentially without prior notice.

Your Obligations

To maintain the credibility of our community, you are mandated to provide truthful and current information during registration and consistently ensure this information remains accurate throughout your membership. Non-compliance may lead to account suspension or termination.

Safeguarding the confidentiality of your account credentials is paramount. Any unauthorized intrusions or misuse of your account must be promptly reported to CanadianSME.

Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Membership fees associated with the Platinum Plan are billed on both an annual and monthly basis. Payments should be settled in full at the onset of the membership duration.

Except in scenarios explicitly highlighted within these Terms, membership fees are non-refundable.

Member Conduct and Content Policy

Being a Platinum member, you are entrusted with the accountability for any content you disseminate or showcase via the platform. It is imperative that all content aligns with applicable laws and remains free from third-party rights violations.

Engaging in sharing content that is detrimental, misleading, or objectionable in any form is strictly prohibited. Breaches may result in actions ranging from content removal to account suspension or outright termination.

Indemnity

You are committed to shielding, indemnifying, and holding CanadianSME, its affiliates, and its cadre of professionals harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from any breach of these Terms or any infringement of third-party rights.

Service Modifications

CanadianSME reserves the unreserved right to alter or cease any services provisioned under the Plan, either temporarily or indefinitely, potentially without prior announcement. Under such circumstances, CanadianSME shall not be accountable to you or any third party.

Termination of Membership

Membership privileges may be revoked by CanadianSME at any juncture, with or without preceding notice, especially in cases of these Terms being compromised.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be construed in alignment with Canadian laws, paying special heed to Ontario statutes, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles. By agreeing to these terms, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario’s courts.

By subscribing to the Platinum Plan, you signify your thorough understanding of and concurrence with these Terms and Conditions.
