The Alberta LGBT* Chamber of Commerce exists to help build a strong Alberta economy supported by, and supportive of, diverse communities.
The LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Quebec represents several members from different sectors of the business community. It promotes the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transidentity (LGBT) business community in Quebec and promotes the success of its members as well as their recognition in socio-economic and governmental circles.
We often get the question: why do you exist? There are business chambers at the regional and national level, and corporations’ support for 2SLGBTQI+ initiatives is on the rise. It’s easy to give a by-the-numbers response. Canada is home to over 100,000 2SLGBTQI+-owned businesses. These businesses generate over $22 billion in economic activity and employ over 435,000 Canadians. In other words, 2SLGBTQI+ business is big business.
We support LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who are building a more equitable future for all.
